In a strategic vision for Andhra Pradesh’s development, Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy emphasized Vizag’s pivotal role as the state’s growth engine. Asserting his commitment to the region’s advancement, he remarked, “Staying in Vizag as the Chief Minister would catalyze significant progress over the next decade.”
Highlighting his vision to elevate Vizag to the ranks of major metropolitan hubs like Hyderabad, Chennai, and Bengaluru, Reddy expressed his intent to take the oath of office in Vizag following the upcoming elections.
Reddy underscored the unparalleled potential for infrastructure development in Vizag, estimating a budget of Rs 1 lakh crore for the enhancement of roads, power, and water facilities. He emphasized that such extensive growth opportunities are not feasible in cities like Vijayawada, Amaravati, or Guntur.
