Jana Sena Leader Kiran Royal Files Complaint Over Phone Data Theft, Alleged Threats Amid Controversy
Jana Sena Party (JSP) leader Kiran Royal has lodged a formal complaint with the Tirupati Additional Superintendent of Police (SP), alleging that his phone data was stolen and that he is being subjected to threats. The complaint follows the viral circulation of videos on social media showing Kiran Royal in close association with a woman, who has made serious allegations against him.
In the wake of these developments, the JSP has distanced Kiran Royal from its official activities until the matter is resolved. Kiran Royal, in his statement to the media, accused YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leaders of attempting to intimidate him and suppress the issue through threats.
He also alleged that the YSRCP was running a smear campaign against him via its social media channels, claiming that an issue which had been resolved nearly a decade ago was now being deliberately revived for political gain. Kiran Royal further stated that he plans to file a writ petition in court to address the situation and confirmed that the matter regarding the theft of his phone data is currently under review by the High Court.
The unfolding controversy has added a layer of complexity to local political dynamics, with Kiran Royal vowing to seek legal redress and clear his name in the ongoing dispute.
