Jani Master Granted Interim Bail to Attend National Film Awards Amid Controversy
Renowned choreographer Jani Master, who recently faced serious allegations in a sexual harassment scandal, has been granted interim bail specifically to attend the National Film Awards ceremony. The court’s decision comes after a former assistant choreographer accused him of misconduct, leading to his arrest by the Hyderabad police and subsequent judicial custody.
While previous bail requests were denied, the court has now permitted Jani Master to be released from October 6th to 10th. This temporary reprieve allows him to travel to New Delhi to accept his National Award for choreographing a notable romantic number in the Tamil film Thiru Chitrambalam, featuring popular actors Dhanush and Nithya Menen.
Though receiving the award marks a significant milestone in Jani Master’s career, it is marred by the backdrop of the ongoing controversy. His presence at the National Awards ceremony presents a complex situation, as the unresolved sexual harassment case looms over him, potentially influencing his professional future. The outcome of the case will be pivotal in determining the consequences he may face moving forward.
