New Delhi: BJP President JP Nadda Criticizes AAP and Kejriwal Over Swati Maliwal Assault Case
BJP President JP Nadda has strongly criticized the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal regarding the alleged assault on Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal. In an interview with ANI, Nadda asserted that the AAP lacks credibility and accused Kejriwal of being exposed before the people of Delhi.
“The Aam Aadmi Party is fundamentally built on lies, and its credibility is not just zero but in negative. Kejriwal’s track record stands against his earlier claims—he entered politics, contested elections, compromised with Congress, and faced corruption charges leading to his recent interim bail,” Nadda stated.
Nadda further criticized Kejriwal’s silence during a press conference with Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav in Lucknow, where questions regarding the assault allegations were ignored. He highlighted incidents of alleged atrocities against women under the AAP regime and questioned Kejriwal’s response to such matters.
Addressing allegations of BJP involvement raised by Maliwal, Nadda clarified that she had not approached their party for assistance, dismissing any such insinuation.
The alleged assault case involving Maliwal and Kejriwal’s aide, Bibhav Kumar, has sparked a significant political controversy, with conflicting statements from both sides. Delhi Police have initiated investigations, including a scene recreation at the CM’s residence, involving forensic experts and officials.
Bibhav Kumar has filed a complaint accusing Maliwal of unauthorized entry, verbal abuse, and threats, suggesting possible political motives behind the incident.
