K Kavitha Responds to ACB Case Against Brother KTR, Accuses CM Revanth Reddy of Political Vendetta
In the wake of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) registering a case against BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) over alleged fund misappropriation during the Formula E car racing event, his sister and Telangana Legislative Council (MLC) member K. Kavitha has issued a strong response.
Kavitha criticized Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for what she termed a politically motivated attack on her brother. She alleged that the CM, unable to effectively counter opposition arguments in the legislative assembly, had resorted to filing baseless cases against KTR. According to Kavitha, these actions were aimed at undermining both KTR and the BRS party, particularly targeting former Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR).
“The people of Telangana are watching the Congress party’s actions,” Kavitha remarked, pointing out that such tactics were an attempt to weaken the BRS leadership. She reminded the Chief Minister that BRS leaders had been a part of the Telangana movement and would not be intimidated by false accusations.
Kavitha concluded her statement with confidence, asserting that the BRS party would emerge stronger from these challenges, declaring, “The spirit of Telangana will prevail.”
