Prabhas, the only Indian actor with multiple films grossing over ₹600 crore, has made a significant impact at the box office with his consecutive releases, Salaar and Kalki 2898 AD.
The actor, known for dedicating five years to a single film, is now on a prolific release spree. Salaar premiered in December last year, followed by Kalki 2898 AD in June. According to producer Ashwini Dutt, the highly anticipated Kalki 2898 AD Part 2 is slated for release in June 2025.
Dutt mentioned that filming for the sequel will resume by the end of this year, aiming for a June 2025 release. Prabhas had earlier suggested to director Nag Ashwin to take a brief break before commencing work on the next part.
The first installment concluded with numerous revelations and twists, setting the stage for an even more thrilling second part. Meanwhile, Prabhas is currently working on Raja Saab and is also expected to begin work on Spirit. If everything goes as planned, Prabhas will have three major releases in the next two years, promising a treat for fans and a spectacular performance at the box office.
