Suriya’s Epic Return: “Kanguva” Set to Enchant Audiences on November 14
Kollywood star Suriya is gearing up for his much-anticipated film “Kanguva,” directed by the renowned filmmaker Siva. Known for his blockbuster hits, Siva aims to deliver a unique, larger-than-life epic fantasy rooted in Tamil culture, designed for global audiences. The promotional material for “Kanguva” has already generated significant buzz, and the film is set to release on November 14, 2023, in over ten languages, including 2D, 3D, and IMAX formats.
At the film’s recent event, Suriya expressed his heartfelt gratitude to fans, journalists, and media partners, particularly thanking UV Company for their collaboration. He emphasized the deep connection he feels with his supporters, noting how their encouragement profoundly affects him. After a two-year hiatus since his last theatrical release, Suriya was especially moved by the warm reception of the re-release of “Surya Son of Krishnan.”
“Kanguva,” crafted over two and a half years, reflects director Siva’s unwavering passion for cinema. Suriya described the film as more than just a warrior’s tale; it embodies a narrative about fighting for one’s people and the values they cherish. He extended his appreciation to his friend, rock star Devi Sri Prasad, and cinematographer Vetri for their contributions, while also acknowledging the influence of director Rajamouli, whose guidance inspired the team.
The film is presented as a straight Telugu movie within the framework of Indian cinema.
