Popular Kannada actor Darshan, known as “Challenging Star,” was arrested by Karnataka Police today in connection with the murder case of Renuka Swamy. Darshan was apprehended at his farmhouse in Mysuru, alongside ten other suspects implicated in the case.
The investigation revealed that Renuka Swamy had allegedly engaged in defamatory actions against actress Pavitra Gowda, an associate of Darshan. Initially considered a suicide, Renuka Swamy’s death was later determined to be a homicide, with further details regarding Darshan’s arrest forthcoming. Known for his significant contributions to Kannada cinema, Darshan has starred in several successful films including “Kaatera,” “Roberrt,” “Saarathi,” “Yajamana,” “Chakravarthy,” and “Kurukshetra.”
