Manchu Vishnu has officially announced the release date of his much-anticipated film, Kannappa, which is set to hit the screens on April 25, 2025. The film, a mythological action drama, will release during the peak summer season, alongside a packed line-up of films from various industries.
Kannappa is a pan-India project, and the team behind it is aiming for a grand release across the nation. The film features prominent stars like Akshay Kumar, Prabhas, and Mohanlal, which is expected to draw significant attention and audiences from multiple regions. Manchu Vishnu is determined to ensure the film has a massive release to maximize its reach.
However, Kannappa will face fierce competition at the box office, as Prabhas’ much-awaited film Raja Saab, directed by Maruthi, is scheduled for release just two weeks prior, on April 10, 2025. This will be another pan-India release and is expected to create a buzz in the market. Additionally, Dhanush’s Idli Kadai will be releasing on the same day, and other big Telugu films like HIT 3 are expected to follow shortly, further intensifying the competition.
The film, directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, best known for his work on the mythological show Mahabharat, is being produced by Manchu Vishnu and his father, Mohan Babu, under the banner of their production company.
