BRS MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha has strongly denounced the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) notices issued to her brother and party working president K.T. Rama Rao (KTR), labeling the move as a politically motivated tactic by the Congress-led Telangana government.
Taking to social media platform ‘X’, Kavitha accused Chief Minister Revanth Reddy of orchestrating the notices as part of a diversionary strategy aimed at deflecting public attention from the state government’s shortcomings.
“This is nothing more than a political ploy. The Congress government, unable to address real issues faced by the people, is resorting to targeting our leaders with baseless notices,” Kavitha said. She added that the issuance of notices to Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leaders in rapid succession clearly indicates a broader political agenda.
“The history of KCR’s soldiers shows they do not waver in the face of intimidation. We stand firm, no matter who tries to shake our resolve,” Kavitha declared, reaffirming the party’s determination to resist what she described as a campaign of political harassment.
The ACB notices to KTR have sparked a war of words between the ruling Congress and the opposition BRS, raising tensions in the state’s political arena.
