Keerthy Suresh Makes Bollywood Debut with ‘Baby Jaan’, Thanks Samantha for Casting Support
South Indian cinema’s beloved actress, Keerthy Suresh, has made her Bollywood debut with the highly anticipated Hindi remake of the Tamil blockbuster Theri, titled Baby Jaan. In this film, Keerthy plays the role originally portrayed by Samantha in the Tamil version.
During an interview, Keerthy shared how Samantha played a pivotal role in her casting for Baby Jaan. She revealed that when the filmmakers were considering actresses for the Hindi remake, it was Samantha who recommended her for the role. “I am thrilled to play the character that Samantha portrayed in the Tamil version. When Samantha suggested my name, I was initially apprehensive, but she gave me immense support throughout the process. I completed the film with the confidence she instilled in me,” Keerthy expressed.
Baby Jaan features an exciting ensemble cast, including Varun Dhawan, Keerthy Suresh, Jackie Shroff, and Wamiqa Gabbi. The film was released on December 25, and it is expected to garner a strong audience with its star-studded lineup and gripping narrative.
