The directive was issued by Krishna District Superintendent of Police Gangadhar, following a vigilance investigation into alleged irregularities involving the former legislator. According to sources, TDP State Executive Secretary Kanaparthi Srinivasa Rao approached the Director General of Police, requesting authorities to prevent Nani’s departure by seizing his passport and issuing lookout alerts at all exit points.

Airports, seaports, and border checkpoints have been placed on high alert, with instructions to closely monitor and restrict any attempt by the former minister to travel abroad. Additionally, continuous surveillance will be maintained to track his movements domestically.
