KTR Criticizes Congress MLA and Government on Violence and Farmers’ Issues

Hyderabad: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president KT Rama Rao (KTR) launched a strong criticism against Congress MLA Arekapudi Gandhi on Saturday, September 14, following an alleged attack on BRS legislator Kaushik Reddy’s residence.

KTR condemned Gandhi for the incident, asserting that the Congress had sent police to Reddy’s home after he questioned the shifting allegiances of 10 MLAs who had recently joined the BRS. He accused the police of causing harm to Reddy’s family and intruding into their private spaces. KTR demanded accountability from both the Chief Minister and the Director General of Police (DGP) regarding the incident, questioning who would be held responsible if any harm had come to Reddy’s family.

The BRS leader also criticized the Congress for its approach to opposition violence, stating that such incidents had not been reported in the past decade. He further questioned the suitability of Revanth Reddy for the position of chief minister in light of these developments.

Additionally, KTR addressed the state’s agricultural issues, questioning the Telangana government’s commitment to farmers. He highlighted the current debate surrounding the support for Kharif farmers, criticizing the Congress government for failing to deliver on its promise of Rs. 15,000 per acre under the Rythu Bharosa scheme. He pointed out that the previous administration under KCR had provided Rs. 10,000 per acre, and criticized the Congress for not fulfilling its commitment.

On social media, KTR questioned the whereabouts of the Congress member who had promised the Rs. 15,000 aid, lamenting the lack of loan waivers and support for farmers as the season progresses. His comments reflect growing concerns over the effectiveness and reliability of the Congress’s promises, leaving farmers anxious and turning to private lenders to meet their financial needs.

KTR demands the 10defected MLAs to tell which party they belong to. There is no regional feeling in Hyderabad, it was reflected in our past 10years rule. Terming Revanth as “Chitti Naidu”, “Bullabbai”, KTR said CM is not bigger than Chandrababu, YSR, Rosaiah, Kiran Kumar. pic.twitter.com/G3XwroFBbV

Who’s that Congress joker who said he will give ₹15,000 per acre as Rythu Bandhu/Bharosa?

Only 17 days left in this season

No loan waiver. No Rythu… pic.twitter.com/1dNQV3VO2Z
