BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) has launched a sharp attack on Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, accusing the Congress-led government in Telangana of using bulldozer politics to target the poor.
Taking a jibe at the ongoing demolition drives, KTR sarcastically “congratulated” Rahul Gandhi for bringing what he called “Bulldozer Raj” to the state.
“The bulldozers seem to know only the addresses of the poor,” KTR said, questioning why the machinery of demolition never seems to reach the homes of the wealthy or Congress leaders. He alleged that the current administration’s actions were selectively punishing underprivileged communities while sparing the influential and well-connected.
KTR’s comments have sparked political debate in the state, with critics accusing the ruling Congress of using authoritarian tactics under the guise of urban development or encroachment removal.
