“Amidst Verbal Sparring, KT Rama Rao Questions PM Modi’s Allies’ Silence on Allegations”

In the midst of a verbal exchange between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi regarding alleged financial contributions from industrialists Gautam Adani and Mukesh Ambani to the Congress party, Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president KT Rama Rao (KTR) has raised questions regarding the inactivity of investigative agencies.

KTR queried why Prime Minister Modi’s purported allies, including the Enforcement Directorate (ED), Income Tax department (IT), and Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), have refrained from initiating investigations or conducting raids in response to these allegations. He further challenged the notion of “demonetisation” being deemed a failure if the allegations of “tempo loads of cash” being exchanged within the Congress party are indeed accurate.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Modi, during an election rally in Telangana, criticized the Congress for ceasing its criticism of Adani and Ambani, suggesting a possible agreement between the parties. He urged the Congress to clarify whether large sums of money had been received, insinuating impropriety.

In response, Rahul Gandhi questioned Modi’s actions and urged him not to panic, sarcastically suggesting an investigation by the CBI and ED into the alleged financial transactions. Gandhi reaffirmed the Congress’s commitment to welfare schemes benefiting the impoverished population of India.
