In a powerful display of national unity and patriotic fervor, a massive Tiranga rally was organized in the city on Friday to celebrate the successful culmination of Operation Sindoor. The rally began at Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium and culminated at Benzi Circle, drawing thousands of enthusiastic participants from all walks of life.
The event witnessed the participation of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, BJP Andhra Pradesh President Daggubati Purandeswari, senior state ministers, MPs, MLAs, and leaders from the BJP, TDP, and Jana Sena parties. A large number of citizens, especially students, joined the march, singing patriotic songs and waving the national flag to honor the courage and sacrifice of India’s armed forces.
Tribute to the Armed Forces
Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu praised the Indian military for their decisive action during Operation Sindoor and emphasized the emotional significance of the national flag.
“The Tricolor stirs deep emotion in every Indian. Operation Sindoor sent a clear message—this country will not tolerate attacks on its women or its sovereignty. Our armed forces crossed borders and delivered justice to those who dared to harm our nation. Their bravery has made the entire country proud,” he said.
Naidu lauded Murali Naik, a young soldier who lost his life in the line of duty, calling him an inspiration to the nation. He also praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his resolute leadership.
“This is a new India, one that does not look away from terror but confronts it head-on. PM Modi has shown the world that any attack on India will be met with a powerful response,” he added.
Pawan Kalyan’s Strong Stand Against Terrorism
Deputy Chief Minister and Jana Sena Chief Pawan Kalyan delivered a passionate speech condemning terrorism and highlighting Pakistan’s alleged involvement in repeated attacks on Indian soil.
“Since partition, India has endured countless acts of terror, and Pakistan’s hand has been visible in many of them. Unable to govern their own country, they aim to destabilize ours. But India is no longer the same—it’s stronger, united, and resolute,” he said.
Pawan Kalyan also honored the memory of Murali Naik, calling him a symbol of patriotism and courage.
“We won’t remain silent when our nation is attacked. We stand firmly with Prime Minister Modi and our brave armed forces. Pakistan must understand—this is a transformed India. Congratulations to all who came forward in support of the Tiranga Yatra,” he concluded.
