Vishal’s Madha Gaja Raja Set for Telugu Release on January 31: Will it Mark a Comeback?
Hero Vishal, a familiar face among Telugu audiences with films like Pandem Kodi, Pogaru, Salute, Vaadu Veedu, and Abhimanyudu, is gearing up for the release of his latest film Madha Gaja Raja in Telugu on January 31. Despite a string of unsuccessful dubbed films in Telugu, Vishal is hopeful that this new venture will rekindle his popularity in the region.
Directed by Sundar C, Madha Gaja Raja is a commercial comedy entertainer that was originally scheduled for release in 2013. However, it faced multiple delays over the years. Finally, the movie saw the light of day during this year’s Pongal festival and became a big hit in Tamil Nadu. Following its success in Tamil, the makers are now bringing the film to the Telugu audience by dubbing it.
Although Vishal’s market in Telugu is not as strong as it once was, and with minimal promotion in the region, the team is hopeful that the film’s success in Tamil will help it gain traction in Telugu as well. It remains to be seen whether Madha Gaja Raja can offer Vishal a successful comeback in Telugu cinema.
The film features Anjali and Varalakshmi Sarathkumar as the female leads, with music composed by Vijay Antony.
