Maharashtra Leads in GSDP, Sikkim Tops Per Capita GSDP: India’s Economic Growth in Focus

Maharashtra is currently at the forefront, leading the country with the highest Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) of Rs 36.46 lakh crore, according to the latest data released on Monday. In terms of per capita GSDP, the national capital Delhi stands at Rs 4.84 lakh, while Maharashtra has a per capita GSDP of Rs 2.91 lakh. Other states like Gujarat (Rs 3.12 lakh), Arunachal Pradesh (Rs 2.27 lakh), and Punjab (Rs 2.23 lakh) also contribute to the national economic landscape with respectable figures.
