In an emotionally charged revelation, actor Manchu Manoj shared his heartfelt longing for reconciliation within his family, expressing hope that a day would come when his loved ones would reunite—breaking bread, sharing laughter, and embracing each other without barriers.
Appearing on a podcast to promote his upcoming film Bhairavam, Manoj opened up about the strained dynamics with his family, particularly his father, veteran actor Mohan Babu, and his sister, who recently led the Teach for Change initiative. Despite the emotional distance, Manoj emphasized that his affection for his family remains intact. “I dream of the day my entire family sits together at one table. I want to see my father lift my daughter in his arms,” said Manoj, his voice heavy with emotion. “There’s no anger in my heart—only love.”
However, the actor also shed light on the painful limitations he faces in meeting his mother, revealing that he must now seek permission or wait outside her home to catch a glimpse of her. “No son should ever be made to feel like a stranger to his own mother,” he lamented, adding that she still visits him and is deeply attached to his daughter.
Discussing his strained relationship with his sister, Manoj said he attended her recent event out of respect and affection, even though she wasn’t sure he’d show up. “She’s been living in fear for a long time—fear for me. But by God’s grace, and with the support of my children and fans, I’ve stayed strong,” he said. Manoj also touched upon the rumors surrounding property disputes, firmly denying any claims that he or his wife Mounika had demanded inheritance or material wealth.
“I’ve never asked for property. If anyone has proof, I challenge them to bring it forward,” he said. “CCTV footage was erased, and a case was filed against me after the conflict. That’s been the pattern. But I’ve chosen to speak now, not out of anger, but to set the record straight.”
Highlighting the resilience of his wife, Manoj praised Mounika’s strength, sharing how she lost her parents at a young age and continues to support him through these personal storms. “She has no part in this family strife, yet she endures so much.” Manchu Manoj’s words reflect a powerful blend of pain, hope, and unshaken love—a candid glimpse into the emotional turmoil behind the glamorous public persona. Meanwhile, his film Bhairavam, co-starring Nara Rohit and Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas, is scheduled for release on May 30, promising high-octane performances and gripping storytelling.
