Kiran Royal Comments on TDP, Jana Sena Dynamics and Pawan Kalyan’s Political Aspirations
Kiran Royal, a prominent leader of the Jana Sena Party, recently sparked a conversation with his statement regarding the term “Mega Brothers,” which, according to him, refers not just to three individuals, but to four — with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu included. His comments come at a time when there are increasing calls within the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) to appoint Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh as the Deputy Chief Minister.
While addressing the issue, Kiran Royal clarified that there was no issue with TDP leaders aspiring for Nara Lokesh to be appointed as Deputy CM. He emphasized that members of Jana Sena have similarly been waiting for over a decade for Pawan Kalyan to be recognized as Chief Minister. Royal also noted that the marginalized and weaker sections of society are equally eager to see Pawan Kalyan take on the highest office in the state.
In the context of the ongoing political developments, Kiran Royal underscored the significance of adhering to pre-election agreements between coalition partners. He urged political leaders to avoid making unnecessary remarks that could provide opportunities for adversaries, particularly from the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP), to level criticism. He specifically targeted YSRCP leaders like Roja and Perni Nani, accusing them of keeping microphones ready to exploit any opportunity to attack political opponents.
Kiran Royal also expressed concern over the security of Pawan Kalyan, reporting that drones were observed flying over the Jana Sena office in Mangalagiri. He called on the authorities to enhance security measures to ensure the safety of Pawan Kalyan, citing the potential risks posed by such incidents.
Through these statements, Kiran Royal not only highlighted internal dynamics within the Jana Sena Party and its relationship with TDP but also set the tone for the ongoing political discourse in Andhra Pradesh as the state approaches significant leadership decisions.
