As the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) prepares for its landmark Mahanadu celebrations in YSR Kadapa district, party leaders and workers are going the extra mile—quite literally. In a commendable show of humility and dedication, Minister Nimmala Ramanaidu, who also serves as Convener of the Mahanadu Sabha Premises Committee, was seen personally taking part in last-minute ground preparations, even wielding a shovel to clear rainwater and level the venue.
The Mahanadu, TDP’s annual political conclave, is set to begin on Tuesday near Pabbapuram village in the Kamalapuram constituency, sprawling over 150 acres. This marks the first time the event is being held in Kadapa district—a region considered politically significant—and the arrangements are nearly complete.
The spirit of unity and enthusiasm is evident as party workers and ministers arrive ahead of the celebrations. TDP National General Secretary and Minister Nara Lokesh is expected to reach Kadapa from Kuppam by Monday, while Chief Minister and TDP President N. Chandrababu Naidu will arrive the same evening to oversee final arrangements and energize the cadre.
The city and its surroundings have undergone a dramatic transformation. Kadapa and Kamalapuram constituencies are awash in yellow, the party’s signature color, adorned with arches, banners, cutouts, and flexes showcasing TDP’s legacy and leadership.
This year’s Mahanadu is expected to serve not only as a celebration of the party’s vision and achievements but also as a platform to chart its course for the future under the leadership of Chandrababu Naidu and Nara Lokesh.
With ministers, volunteers, and local leaders working in unison—and even getting their hands dirty to ensure perfection—the TDP’s Mahanadu in Kadapa is shaping up to be a powerful symbol of commitment and grassroots leadership.
