Kushinagar: Boy with Intellectual Disability Detained for Threatening Ram Temple
Kushinagar: A 14-year-old boy from Kushinagar district was detained on Wednesday for allegedly threatening to bomb the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, according to police reports.
Superintendent of Police Dhawal Jaiswal confirmed that the boy has an intellectual disability and was undergoing treatment. His grandmother, with whom he resides, was also detained.
Authorities reported that the boy called the police emergency number ‘112’ on Tuesday night, issuing a threat to bomb the temple. Additionally, he posted similar messages on his Instagram and other social media accounts.
Utilizing its Cyber Cell, the police traced the call to Balua Takiya, a village within the jurisdiction of Patherwa police station in Kushinagar, and subsequently detained the boy.
