Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing an election rally at Narayanpet in Telangana, criticized the Congress party, alleging that it espouses an anti-Hindu stance and practices divisive politics based on religion and caste.
He asserted that Congress is aware that religion-based reservations contradict the principles of the Constitution and cited the opposition of Babasaheb Ambedkar to such reservations. Modi accused Congress of neglecting the interests of Hindus and the nation, positioning them as secondary citizens.
He also condemned the Congress government in Telangana, indirectly referring to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s involvement in the alleged double RR tax issue. Modi criticized Congress for divisive remarks, citing an advisor’s derogatory comments about South Indian people resembling Africans, which he interpreted as an insult to Telangana residents based on their skin color, implying a discriminatory attitude within the party.
