New Delhi: A Delhi court on Wednesday extended the judicial custody of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal until July 3 in connection with a money laundering case related to the alleged excise scam.
Special Judge Niyay Bindu extended Kejriwal’s custody after he was presented before the court via video conference, following the expiration of his previous judicial custody.
During the hearing, Kejriwal’s counsel opposed the Enforcement Directorate’s (ED) application for extending his judicial custody, arguing that there were no sufficient grounds to justify the extension.
