Nara Lokesh Responds to Allegations of Mismanagement at Sri Kalahasteeswara Temple
Andhra Pradesh Minister for Information Technology and Communications, Nara Lokesh, has responded strongly to allegations of mismanagement at the Sri Kalahasteeswara Temple in Srikalahasti. The controversy surfaced when a devotee complained about being denied prasadam while standing in the queue line. The devotee, who raised the issue on social media, tagged Lokesh, prompting a swift reply.
In his response, Lokesh condemned the incident, emphasizing that actions harming devotees’ sentiments would not be tolerated. He also claimed that some temple staff were still following practices from the previous YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) government. Lokesh assured that strict action would be taken against those responsible for denying prasadam to devotees.
The minister further stated that an inquiry would be initiated into the matter, and anyone found guilty would face severe consequences. He also tagged the Endowments Department Minister to ensure that necessary steps were taken to address the issue.
