New Delhi: The Union Health Ministry announced on Saturday that it will postpone the NEET-PG entrance examination scheduled for June 23, 2024, citing “precautionary measures” following recent concerns regarding the integrity of certain competitive exams.
The Ministry of Health has opted to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the procedures governing the NEET-PG entrance examination, administered by the National Board of Examination (NTA) for aspiring medical students.
“In light of these considerations, the decision has been made to postpone the NEET-PG entrance examination originally scheduled for tomorrow, June 23, 2024,” stated the ministry.
A revised date for the examination will be communicated expeditiously, the ministry confirmed.
“The Ministry of Health deeply regrets any inconvenience caused to the students. This step has been taken in their best interests and to uphold the integrity of the examination process,” the ministry concluded.
