Hyderabad: Nandamuri Kalyan Ram is currently working on a high-octane action entertainer titled #NKR21, directed by Pradeep Chilukuri and produced by Ashoka Creations and NTR Arts.
The film has recently completed shooting an ambitious climax sequence, which was filmed over 30 days on an elaborate set constructed outside Hyderabad. This segment, which cost Rs 8 crore—making it the most expensive scene in Kalyan Ram’s career—features extensive set design by Brahma Kadali and intricate action choreography by Ramakrishna. The grand climax involved nearly 1,000 artists, promising a visually stunning and high-impact conclusion to the film.
Kalyan Ram’s performance in this sequence, which includes some high-risk stunts, is expected to be a major highlight of the movie. The film also stars Vijayashanthi in the role of a formidable IPS officer, with Sohail Khan, Saiee Manjrekar, and Srikanth playing significant roles.
