New Delhi: Nothing, a consumer tech brand headquartered in London, announced on Tuesday its decision to integrate OpenAI’s Artificial Intelligence (AI) chatbot ChatGPT into all of its audio products.
The company initially disclosed the integration of ChatGPT into its recently unveiled Nothing Ear and Ear (a) models last month. Now, it extends this integration to all other audio products in its lineup, encompassing Ear (1), Ear (stick), Ear (2), CMF Buds, CMF Neckband Pro, and CMF Buds Pro.
In a statement, the company stated, “The integration will be accessible on the additional products through a Nothing X app update on May 21, ahead of the previously announced June rollout.”
It further elaborated, “Users will have the capability to activate ChatGPT directly from Nothing audio products paired with Nothing phones by employing a pinch-to-speak gesture.”
Simultaneously, Nothing reported a remarkable 144% year-on-year growth in the first quarter (January-March) of this year. Citing data from Counterpoint Research, the company attributed this growth to the positive reception of its mid-range model, the Nothing Phone (2a), which garnered substantial attention.
In March this year, Nothing unveiled its third smartphone, the Phone (2a), in the Indian market.
Established in 2020, Nothing has achieved sales exceeding 3 million products globally, including the Phone (1).
