Legal Dispute Arises Between Bandla Ganesh and Nowhera Shaikh Over Property Possession
Hyderabad: Producer Bandla Ganesh finds himself embroiled in a criminal case filed by Nowhera Shaikh, CEO of the Heera Group, pertaining to alleged illegal possession of a property valued at 75 crore, alongside subsequent threats directed at her.
The complaint has been formally lodged at the Film Nagar police station.
According to Nowhera Shaikh, Ganesh purportedly took control of a significant property owned by her unlawfully and resorted to intimidation tactics upon being confronted regarding the vacation of the premises. However, sources with knowledge of the situation present a contrasting perspective.
Contrary to the assertions made by the complainant, sources indicate that Ganesh had engaged in contractual agreements for the rental occupancy of the disputed property.
Reportedly, Ganesh had executed written contracts delineating the terms of the rental agreement and had made a substantial payment of ₹3 crore in this context.
The case against Bandla Ganesh has been registered under IPC Sections 341 (wrongful restraint) and Section 506 (criminal intimidation). Notably, Nowhera Shaikh had previously approached the Director General of Police (DGP), and a case was also registered with the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) on March 26.
In a noteworthy turn of events, in February, Bandla Ganesh initiated legal proceedings against Nowhera Shaikh, alleging her involvement, along with a group of individuals, in orchestrating an attack against him regarding the vacation of the disputed property. As the legal dispute progresses, both parties anticipate further developments in the case.
