NSE Unaffected by Microsoft Outage, Continues Normal Operations
The National Stock Exchange (NSE) of India reassured stakeholders on Friday that its operations remain unaffected by the global outage of Microsoft systems, amid widespread disruptions reported in various sectors worldwide.
Responding to queries, a spokesperson for NSE confirmed, “NSE and NCL (NSE Clearing Ltd) are working normal today,” highlighting the exchange’s operational stability amidst the global service disruptions.
Microsoft users globally, including several in India, experienced significant outages across various services, as indicated by outage tracking website Downdetector. The disruption prompted concerns in multiple sectors, including stock exchanges in several countries.
While the Microsoft cloud outage initially impacted US airlines resulting in flight cancellations, the technology giant later reported resolution of the issue affecting its cloud services in the Central US region.
