NTR’s look in the highly anticipated action thriller War 2 is making waves even before its release, and the credit goes in large part to renowned stylist Anaita Shroff Adajania, who crafted the superstar’s intense, grounded style for the film. Speaking about her first collaboration with the Telugu superstar, Anaita described it as a “discovery and an absolute joy.”
“He walks into a room and there’s this instant shift—like a current of energy runs through everyone,” she said. “It’s not loud or performative—it’s magnetic.” Anaita, known for her impeccable eye for fashion and her ability to blend character with persona, wanted to retain NTR’s inherent masculinity while presenting him with raw realism.
“With his look, I wanted to keep it real—grounded—but still retain that undeniable strength and masculinity he carries so effortlessly. There’s a rawness to his presence, like a human machine operating with purpose,” she explained. To bring this vision to life, she created a wardrobe rooted in simplicity and power: rugged jackets, leather, and bold silhouettes—free of excess, focused entirely on strength and presence.
“His styling reflects who he is in War 2: direct, impactful, and unapologetically no-nonsense,” Anaita added. “There’s no fuss. Just a man who means business.” Directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Aditya Chopra, War 2 is the latest installment in Yash Raj Films’ expanding Spy Universe. The film features a high-octane face-off between NTR and Hrithik Roshan, with Kiara Advani playing the female lead.
Set to release on August 14, War 2 will hit theatres in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, following up on the massive success of the 2019 blockbuster War, which starred Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff. That film was a turning point in Indian action cinema, and War 2 aims to take the legacy forward—with NTR adding a powerful new dimension.
