Andhra Pradesh Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan Donates Rs 1 Crore to Telangana Flood Relief Fund
Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan visited Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy at his residence in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad, to present a donation of Rs 1 crore to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) for flood relief efforts in Telangana.
The generous contribution is part of Kalyan’s broader commitment to support flood-affected regions. He has pledged a total of Rs 6 crore towards relief efforts in both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, addressing the severe impacts of recent flooding in the area.
In addition to the Rs 1 crore donation to the Telangana CMRF, Kalyan has committed a similar amount to the Andhra Pradesh CMRF. Furthermore, he has allocated an additional Rs 4 crore to assist 400 gram panchayats across Andhra Pradesh, with each panchayat receiving Rs 1 lakh to aid in local recovery and rebuilding efforts.
During the meeting, Kalyan and Reddy also discussed ways to enhance cooperation and strengthen the relationship between the two states, alongside addressing other pertinent issues affecting the region.
