Pawan Kalyan Expresses Condolences Over Tragic Maha Kumbh Mela Stampede
A tragic stampede occurred in the early hours today at the ongoing Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj, resulting in the loss of around 20 lives. The incident took place as millions of pilgrims gathered at the Triveni Sangam to take part in the sacred bath on the occasion of Mauni Amavasya.
In response to the heartbreaking tragedy, Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan expressed his deep sorrow. He described the stampede as a deeply distressing event and offered his condolences to the families of the victims. “This is a very unfortunate incident, and my heartfelt sympathies are with the families who have lost their loved ones,” he said.
Pawan Kalyan also urged pilgrims from both Telugu states visiting the Kumbh Mela to adhere to the instructions provided by the authorities to ensure their safety. “I request all devotees to take necessary precautions and follow the instructions of the officials to prevent further mishaps,” he added.
In addition, the Deputy Chief Minister wished for the swift recovery of those injured in the stampede and expressed his hopes for their speedy recovery.
