Pawan Kalyan Announces Compensation for Families of Fans Killed in Road Accident
Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and Janasena Party leader Pawan Kalyan has announced a compensation of ₹5 lakh each for the families of two fans who tragically lost their lives in a road accident while returning from the ‘Game Changer’ event. The incident occurred on the Kakinada-Rajamahendravaram road, claiming the lives of Arava Manikantha and Thokada Charan, both residents of Gaigolupadu in Kakinada district.
Pawan Kalyan expressed his deep sorrow over the tragedy and extended heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims. He recalled advising attendees during the event to take care and ensure safe travel when returning home, but despite these precautions, the unfortunate accident occurred, leaving him deeply distressed.
In his statement, Pawan Kalyan criticized the previous government for neglecting the maintenance of the Kakinada-Rajamahendravaram road, which had been in poor condition for an extended period. He acknowledged the ongoing efforts to repair the road but expressed concern over the delays in restoration, which he believes contributed to the mishap.
In response to the tragic incident, Pawan Kalyan directed his office staff to collaborate with government authorities to provide additional support to the victims’ families. He urged the government to take immediate action to offer the necessary assistance to the bereaved families. Furthermore, Pawan Kalyan announced that he would use the ADB road for future visits to the Pithapuram constituency to avoid the poorly maintained stretches of the current route, showing his commitment to the safety of the public and the improvement of infrastructure in the region.
