Pawan Kalyan Announces ₹50 Lakh Grant for Development of Konidela Village
Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has pledged a grant of ₹50 lakh for the development of Konidela village, located in Nandikotkur Mandal of Nandyal district. The announcement was made during his visit to Pudicharla in the erstwhile Kurnool district, where he also laid the foundation stone for farm ponds.
Although Pawan Kalyan shares the surname ‘Konidela,’ the village is not his native place, nor is there any direct familial connection. However, after learning about the challenges faced by the village through the local sarpanch, Pawan Kalyan decided to adopt Konidela village as part of his ongoing efforts to contribute to rural development.
The ₹50 lakh funding will be sourced from Pawan Kalyan’s personal trust, underscoring his commitment to improving the infrastructure and living standards in the village. During his visit, Pawan Kalyan assured that he would work closely with the local MLA to address the village’s needs. He also promised to ensure that all relevant government schemes are effectively implemented and reach the intended beneficiaries.
In addition, Pawan Kalyan instructed officials to prepare a comprehensive development plan for the village, which will focus on key areas such as infrastructure improvement, access to essential services, and sustainable agricultural practices. He emphasized the importance of long-term planning to ensure the village’s growth and prosperity.
Pawan Kalyan also mentioned that he would revisit Konidela village soon to assess the progress of the developmental work and to continue his efforts in improving the quality of life for its residents. His visit and financial commitment reflect his ongoing dedication to rural development in Andhra Pradesh.
