Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s unwavering commitment to national development, stating that the PM works not for political gains but for the holistic progress of the nation.
Speaking at a high-level meeting in Delhi with Chief Ministers and Deputy Chief Ministers of National Democratic Alliance (NDA)-ruled states, Pawan Kalyan drew a striking metaphor: “Just as the Himalayas never bow, Prime Minister Modi too stands tall and steadfast, never bending under pressure.”
Highlighting the government’s focus on inclusive development, he pointed to the transformative impact of the PM-Jan Man programme—a Central Government initiative aimed at connecting remote and underserved tribal regions through road infrastructure. “This scheme reflects the Prime Minister’s dedication to serving all citizens, not just vote banks,” he said.
According to Pawan Kalyan, Andhra Pradesh is witnessing tangible results from this initiative. With an allocation of ₹555.61 crore from the Centre, the state is constructing 612.72 kilometers of road, connecting 239 Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Group (PVTG) habitations across seven districts. “This will significantly enhance transportation and access to essential services for around 50,000 tribal residents,” he added.
The Deputy CM also commended Modi’s leadership during critical national operations, particularly referencing Operation Sindoor. “In high-pressure situations, the Prime Minister doesn’t just think about immediate safety—he plans for the country’s long-term strength and future. His strategic foresight has elevated India’s global stature,” Pawan said.
On the issue of social justice, Pawan Kalyan backed the need for a caste-based census, arguing it is essential for evidence-based policymaking. “Understanding the socio-economic status and occupations of various communities will help tailor welfare schemes more effectively,” he noted.
He further revealed that the Andhra Pradesh Cabinet, under Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, has approved Scheduled Caste categorization. This decision follows a comprehensive, three-month study conducted by a commission led by retired IAS officer Rajeev Ranjan Mishra.
“With strong leadership at both the Centre and the state, we are laying the foundation for inclusive development that transcends politics,” Pawan Kalyan concluded.
