Undavalli, Andhra Pradesh: Union Minister and BJP leader Amit Shah’s visit to Andhra Pradesh included significant interactions with local leaders, including a notable meeting with Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Chief and former Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. BJP leader Bandi Sanjay Kumar, accompanying Shah during the trip, had the opportunity to engage in discussions with TDP leaders, including Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan and Minister Nara Lokesh, at Naidu’s residence in Undavalli. Bandi Sanjay later shared photos of the interaction on his social media platform “X” (formerly Twitter), highlighting the cordial nature of the meeting.
Amit Shah’s visit was part of a broader state tour, where he was warmly received by CM Naidu and Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan. The meeting at Naidu’s residence was described as a courtesy call, during which the leaders discussed several key issues, including the special package announced by the Union Government for the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant. Naidu and Kalyan expressed their appreciation to Amit Shah for the central government’s support to the steel plant, a major industrial asset in the region.
The visit reflects ongoing political dialogues in the state, with BJP leaders and TDP members engaging in discussions despite being in different political camps. It also underscores the importance of the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant issue, which remains a central topic of concern for the state’s political leadership.
