Pawan Kalyan Hails PM Modi as ‘Aniket’, Backs Operation Sindoor and Anti-Terror Efforts
Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has once again voiced strong support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, praising his dedication to the nation and reaffirming his government’s alignment with the Centre’s firm stance on national security. In a public statement shared via his official X (formerly Twitter) handle, Kalyan referred to the Prime Minister as “Aniket”—a symbolic term that he explained carries profound spiritual and philosophical meaning.
“‘Aniket’ is not just a name; it is a resolve,” Pawan Kalyan wrote, recalling that during his ascetic years, Narendra Modi was referred to by this name. “‘Aniket’ means one without a home—one who sees the entire world as his dwelling,” he added. Drawing parallels with Lord Shiva, who is often described in ancient scriptures as an ascetic who owns nothing yet embraces everything, Kalyan emphasized the spiritual depth behind the moniker.
“Like Lord Shiva, who is both the protector and the renunciate, Prime Minister Modi has chosen a path of selfless service. Though he personally has no permanent home, he has provided homes to millions through the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. From Kashmir to Kanyakumari, from Kamakhya to Dwarka, the entire nation is embraced as his own by this ‘Aniket,’” Kalyan stated.
Support for Operation Sindoor and National Security
In the same post, Kalyan expressed his firm endorsement of the Union Government’s recent counterterrorism initiative, Operation Sindoor, launched in response to emerging threats to India’s national security. “I fully support the Government of India’s unyielding stand against terrorism. The sacrifices of our security forces and the resolve of our leadership deserve our unwavering support,” he noted.
His remarks come at a time when the Centre’s national security posture, especially following recent military actions under Operation Sindoor, has drawn both domestic and international attention. Kalyan’s support reflects a continued alignment between the state leadership of Andhra Pradesh and the Union Government on key national issues.
Political and Public Significance
Pawan Kalyan’s statement not only reinforces his alliance with the BJP-led central government but also seeks to inspire public sentiment around themes of duty, sacrifice, and governance. By invoking spiritual imagery and cultural symbolism, he framed Prime Minister Modi’s leadership as both transformative and morally grounded.
The actor-turned-politician, who also heads the Jana Sena Party, has consistently praised Modi’s policies and leadership style. His recent elevation as Deputy Chief Minister in Andhra Pradesh under the NDA alliance further strengthens his political proximity to the Prime Minister.
As India faces complex geopolitical challenges and moves toward the next electoral cycle, voices like Kalyan’s play a key role in shaping regional and national political narratives—blending cultural reverence with political endorsement.
