Pawan Kalyan Criticizes YSRCP Over TTD Mismanagement and Religious Sentiments
In a vehement address, Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and Janasena leader Pawan Kalyan has launched a scathing critique of YSRCP president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, accusing him of mismanaging the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) board over the past five years and disrespecting the sentiments of millions of Hindus.
Kalyan, who is currently undertaking an 11-day atonement deeksha in response to the alleged desecration of the sacred Tirupati Laddu Prasadam, emphasized that his actions are not politically motivated. Instead, he aims to draw attention to what he deems serious mismanagement and irregularities by the previous government.
Speaking to the media, Kalyan condemned the exorbitant ticket pricing instituted by board members appointed by Jagan Mohan Reddy, claiming they violated established practices in conducting rituals for Venkateswara Swamy. He accused the former administration of supporting those responsible for these missteps.
Challenging the former government to publicly clarify their actions, Kalyan questioned the silence of prominent figures like Dharma Reddy and YV Subba Reddy on these critical issues. He also expressed outrage over the reported desecration of over 300 temples during the 2019-2024 period, reiterating the importance of upholding Sanatana Dharma to foster religious harmony.
Kalyan further highlighted the need for a fair investigation into the alleged adulteration of the Laddu, insisting that this matter requires attention in both the Parliament and the state assembly. Following the completion of his deeksha, he plans to visit Tirupati for darshan of Venkateswara Swamy, symbolizing his commitment to addressing these issues head-on.
