Andhra Pradesh Minister Kollu Ravindra has once again taken a strong stance against YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, accusing him of engaging in “cheap politics” and attempting to intimidate the police. Ravindra questioned the police’s silence over such behavior, particularly regarding the kidnapping of a Dalit youth, and called for greater accountability in law enforcement actions.
Ravindra also criticized Jagan’s public speeches, claiming they were incomprehensible and no longer taken seriously by the people. He argued that despite being rejected by the public due to his failures, Jagan had not altered his approach.
Regarding Jagan’s recent visit to the Guntur Mirchi Yard, Ravindra accused him of violating the election code for political gain, claiming that even after officials warned him, Jagan proceeded with the visit. The minister also criticized the YSRCP leader for allegedly staging a political stunt by hiring paid artists to present themselves as farmers, calling it an “IPAC drama.”
Responding to comments from former minister Kodali Nani, Ravindra questioned the necessity of power for serving the people, stating that unlike the YSRCP, his party remained accountable to the public both in power and opposition. Ravindra concluded by vowing to restore the reputation of Krishna district, which he accused Jagan’s leadership of tarnishing through misgovernance, corruption, and destruction.
