Barabanki: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, speaking at a rally on Friday, criticized leaders of the INDIA bloc for what he described as unrealistic ambitions to become Prime Minister.
“In their aspirations, they have surpassed Mungeri Lal in daydreaming. Babua (Akhilesh Yadav) has forged an alliance with a new Bua from West Bengal who has promised them external support. Their faction is already fracturing, solely focused on creating disruptions,” PM Modi remarked.
He highlighted a Congress leader’s statement in Raebareli suggesting voters could elect a Prime Minister from there, which he claimed had disheartened SP leaders. “Will you waste your vote on such individuals? Can you expect development from them? You need a strong government to ensure rapid progress, and for this, only the ‘kamal’ symbol is sufficient,” he asserted.
PM Modi criticized INDIA bloc MPs, suggesting their primary competition appeared to be in criticizing him rather than constructive work. “When hiring an employee, one seeks capability, not just someone adept at criticism,” he emphasized.
Expressing gratitude for the people’s support, PM Modi pledged continued hard work to reciprocate their affection. “I am prepared for a third term and committed to serving all segments of society,” he affirmed.
Reflecting on the Ram Mandir’s construction, PM Modi attributed its realization to the strength of voters’ support. He accused Congress and SP of initially neglecting Lord Ram’s legacy, advocating for a hospital or Dharamsala over the temple. “I’ve heard Congress plans to challenge the Supreme Court’s verdict and bulldoze the Ram Mandir. They should learn from Yogi Adityanath’s prudent use of such measures,” he remarked.
PM Modi urged voters to consider forfeiting opposition candidates’ deposits in the ongoing elections. He warned against the INDIA bloc potentially reallocating reservation benefits from SC/ST, Adivasis, and OBCs to their supporters under the guise of appeasement.
“Critics who faced allegations in the fodder scam now demand expanded reservation for their entire vote bank. When I expose their motives, they accuse me of polarizing elections,” PM Modi concluded.
