PM Modi Extends Ram Navami Greetings and Announces Visit to Rameswaram
Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his heartfelt greetings to the nation on the occasion of Ram Navami, the holy festival celebrating the birth of Lord Shri Ram. Through a message on the social media platform X, PM Modi wished the people of India, stating that the festival would usher in new consciousness, energy, and enthusiasm.
“Many best wishes to all countrymen on Ram Navami. May this holy occasion of the birth anniversary of Lord Shri Ram bring new consciousness and new enthusiasm in your life, which will constantly provide new energy to the resolve of a strong, prosperous, and capable India. Jai Shri Ram!” the Prime Minister wrote.
In his post, PM Modi also shared his plans for the day, announcing his visit to Tamil Nadu, where he is set to inaugurate the new Pamban Rail Bridge in Rameswaram. This infrastructure project is expected to enhance connectivity between the mainland and the island, benefiting local communities and contributing to regional development.
“Looking forward to being in Rameswaram later today!” PM Modi wrote on X, sharing his excitement for the visit.
As part of his Ram Navami celebrations, the Prime Minister expressed his intention to pray at the Sri Arulmigu Ramanathaswamy Temple in Rameswaram. Additionally, he shared details of his visit, stating, “Tomorrow, 6th April, on the very auspicious occasion of Ram Navami, I look forward to being among my sisters and brothers of Tamil Nadu. The new Pamban Rail Bridge will be inaugurated. I will pray at the Sri Arulmigu Ramanathaswamy Temple.”
This special visit marks an important moment for PM Modi, as he lays the foundation stone and inaugurates several development projects worth Rs 8,300 crore in Tamil Nadu, further highlighting the region’s significance in India’s overall growth.
Following his diplomatic visit to Sri Lanka and participation in the BIMSTEC summit in Thailand, PM Modi’s focus for this Ram Navami is on both spiritual and infrastructural development in Tamil Nadu. The inauguration of the Pamban Rail Bridge is expected to provide a significant boost to the region’s connectivity and economic prospects, making it a landmark event in the nation’s development journey.
