Posani Krishna Murali Remanded in Judicial Custody for 14 Days
Actor and YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leader Posani Krishna Murali has been remanded to judicial custody for 14 days following his arrest by the Andhra Pradesh police. The decision was made by the Railway Kodur court, and Posani is expected to be transferred to Kadapa Central Jail.
Posani was interrogated by the police for nearly nine hours under the supervision of the District Superintendent of Police (SP), Vidhya Sagar, at the Obulavaripalle police station in Annamayya district on Thursday. After the extensive interrogation, he was presented before the judge in a session that ran from 9:30 PM until 5:00 AM. During the legal proceedings, Ponnavolu Sudhakar represented Posani and made a bail plea on his behalf. However, the judge denied the request for bail, ensuring that Posani will remain in judicial custody until March 13.
The actor’s arrest took place on Wednesday in Hyderabad, and it follows a series of legal proceedings initiated after complaints were filed against him. Further updates on the case are awaited as legal discussions continue.
