Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Visakhapatnam Visit to Inaugurate ₹2.08 Lakh Crore Worth of Projects
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Visakhapatnam today, where he will virtually inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for nearly 20 major projects valued at approximately ₹2.08 lakh crores. The visit is expected to boost infrastructure, industrial growth, and sustainable energy initiatives in the region.
The event will be attended by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, various Union and State Ministers, along with other prominent public representatives.
The Prime Minister’s itinerary includes his arrival at Visakhapatnam airport at 4:15 PM, followed by a roadshow from 4:45 PM to 5:30 PM. He will then address a public meeting at Andhra University Engineering College Grounds from 5:30 PM to 6:45 PM. During this session, Modi will virtually inaugurate a series of landmark projects, including the headquarters of the South Coast Railway Zone, the Green Hydrogen Hub at Pudimadaka, and a Bulk Drug Park at Nakkapalli. Other significant projects to be inaugurated include the Krishnapatnam Industrial Node, as well as railway and highway developments such as the doubling of lines on the Guntur-Bibinagar and Gooty-Pendekallu sections.
Security measures for the event are extensive, ensuring the safety and smooth execution of the Prime Minister’s visit. After the event, Modi will depart from Visakhapatnam at 7:15 PM for a special flight to Bhubaneswar.
