Delays in Release of Anticipated Tollywood Films: Pawan Kalyan’s #OG and Nani-Sujeeth Film
The Telugu film industry, popularly known as Tollywood, is currently abuzz with speculation surrounding the delay in the release of two highly anticipated films: Pawan Kalyan’s #OG and the Nani-Sujeeth project.
The delay stems from issues within the production house, DVV Entertainment, which is responsible for both films. DVV Entertainment, renowned for its successful ventures including the blockbuster film “RRR,” had initially announced that both #OG and the Nani-Sujeeth film would be released in 2024.
Following these announcements, DVV Entertainment pursued advanced OTT deals for the films. However, these deals did not come to fruition, resulting in significant delays. Consequently, the Nani-Sujeeth film has been cancelled, while the release of Pawan Kalyan’s #OG has been postponed from its original date of September 27th.
This development has been the subject of much discussion in Film Nagar, the heart of the Telugu film industry, leaving fans of both actors eagerly awaiting updates on these projects.
There is a possibility that the Nani-Sujeeth film may secure a new producer, while #OG might be released in 2025, contingent upon securing a deal with a major digital streaming platform.
