Tragic Stampede at Pushpa-2 Premiere Claims Woman’s Life, Son in Critical Condition
A tragic stampede during the premiere of Pushpa-2 at Sandhya Theater on December 4 resulted in the death of a woman, Revathi, from Dilsukhnagar, and left her son, Sritej, in critical condition. The incident occurred around 9:30 PM when a large crowd gathered to witness the much-anticipated show. The family’s lives were shattered as Revathi lost her life in the chaos, while her son is currently receiving medical treatment for severe injuries.
The police have filed cases against the theater management and actor Allu Arjun, whose presence at the event is believed to have contributed to the overwhelming crowd. Revathi’s husband has made sensational statements in the wake of the incident, expressing his deep sorrow and anger. He claimed that the tragic events unfolded because Allu Arjun visited the theater on the night of the premiere. According to him, if the actor had not attended, the crowd would not have been so large, and his wife’s death could have been avoided.
The grieving father also revealed that his son, Sritej, had been eagerly anticipating the Pushpa-2 screening for over a month, as he is a die-hard fan of Allu Arjun. Sritej regularly mimics the actor’s songs and dialogues with great enthusiasm, and it was his excitement that led Revathi and her husband to take him to the premiere. To ensure a smooth experience, Sritej had even pre-booked tickets for the event.
The police are investigating the incident further as the family grapples with the devastating loss. Authorities are also looking into the safety protocols followed by the theater during the high-profile premiere.
