Hyderabad: Rahul Gandhi, the esteemed Congress leader, engaged in a transit experience aboard a state roadways bus in Greater Hyderabad following his address at a public gathering on Thursday evening, where he also interacted with pleasantly surprised passengers.
Accompanied by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, Rahul Gandhi boarded a Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) bus subsequent to the public assembly held at Saroornagar in the Malkajgiri Lok Sabha constituency.
During his bus journey, Rahul Gandhi disseminated informational brochures pertaining to the ‘Panch Nyay’ initiative among passengers and sought updates on the implementation progress of the complimentary bus travel scheme under the Congress government’s jurisdiction in the state.
Engaging with the passengers onboard, Rahul Gandhi explicated the commitments outlined by the Congress party in its national manifesto, specifically addressing issues concerning women, youth, farmers, and laborers.
The passengers expressed their delight at the unexpected presence of Rahul Gandhi among them, with many seizing the opportunity to capture selfies with him.
In his preceding address at the public gathering, Rahul Gandhi reiterated accusations against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), alleging plans to undermine the Constitution, while affirming the Congress party’s commitment to its protection. Additionally, he pledged to enhance reservation quotas and enumerated various promises earmarked for implementation by the prospective INDIA bloc government, emphasizing their potential to invigorate the economy, generate employment opportunities, and cater to the diverse needs of the populace.
