Hyderabad: In a moving tribute to Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the historic Raj Bhavan was illuminated in pink on Wednesday, emphasizing the significance of early detection and prevention of the disease. This initiative, spearheaded by the Ushalakshmi Breast Cancer Foundation and supported by Governor Jishnu Dev Varma, aims to raise awareness about breast cancer throughout the region.
Governor Varma highlighted the vital importance of early detection in ensuring effective treatment and encouraged ongoing awareness initiatives to educate and empower individuals regarding the disease. He commended Dr. Raghu Ram and the Ushalakshmi Breast Cancer Foundation for their dedicated efforts in breast cancer education, noting that such initiatives are saving lives across Telangana.
