In a significant push towards youth empowerment, Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and Panchayati Raj and Rural Development Minister Seethakka held a high-level review meeting to expedite the implementation of the Rajiv Yuva Vikasam scheme—a flagship initiative aimed at fostering financial independence among the state’s youth.
During the meeting, the Deputy Chief Minister announced that beneficiary approval documents would be distributed between June 2 and June 9, with the grounding of selected units set to begin post-June 15. The scheme, which aims to support 500,000 youth by October 2, will be implemented in a phased manner to maximize reach and impact across Telangana.
Minister Seethakka emphasized that the first phase will focus on micro units under ₹1 lakh, ensuring that economically weaker sections benefit immediately. She reaffirmed the government’s commitment to providing comprehensive support—including funding, training, and mentorship—to enable youth to pursue entrepreneurial and livelihood opportunities.
Both leaders underlined the scheme’s role in boosting rural development and job creation, and reiterated the government’s resolve to transform young aspirants into self-reliant contributors to the state economy.
