Ram Pothineni’s RAPO22: A Fresh Romantic Venture Launched with Grand Ceremony
Tollywood’s romantic hero, Ram Pothineni, known for his action-packed roles, is shifting gears with his upcoming project, RAPO22. The film, which marks a significant change in his career trajectory, was officially launched today with a formal Pooja ceremony attended by prominent filmmakers such as Hanu Raghavapudi, Gopichand Malineni, and Venky Kudumula.
In a special moment, Gopichand Malineni switched on the camera, Hanu Raghavapudi gave the first clap, and Venky Kudumula directed the first shot. Ram and Bhagyashri Borse, the lead pair, performed the customary Muhurtham shot to kickstart the film’s journey.
Directed by P. Mahesh Babu, RAPO22 promises a more sensible and serene approach, showcasing a side of Ram that fans have eagerly awaited. The film’s poster and initial materials reflect a refreshing vibe, signaling a departure from his recent action-heavy roles. Produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravishankar under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers, the film is expected to be a grand-scale production.
